Pirate's Creations

Hello and thank you for visiting my site. I’m a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer, and currently a Corporate Training Manager by day. Most weekends and some evenings I can be found in my garage woodshop in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, building something or waiting for inspiration. (Check out “The Log” above for some of my work)

It started out with a circular saw and a homemade workbench. Over the course of the last year, it has evolved into multiple tools and workbenches, a large collection of domestic and exotic hardwoods, and a dog bed under the glue up table for my 85 pound Boxer/Australian Shepherd quality manager, Bean.

Feel free to join me as I talk about my projects, things that I learn, and other random thoughts that pop into my head. Your comments are always welcome. And who knows? Maybe you’ll see something along the way that you’d like to purchase, or something you’d like me to custom build for you. If so, let me know.
